Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 September 2026

Most privacy policies explain how long a company keeps your data. This one mostly explains how quickly it stops existing.

Who we are

Never Enough Compute, a Florida business. Contact us at admin@neverenoughcompute.com or hello@neverenoughcompute.com.

The files you send us

They are processed on hardware we own and keep in our own building. They are not sent to a third-party cloud, they are not used to train anything, and they are not sold, shared or disclosed to anyone.

No person reads them. Even the decision about whether your material is within the price you were quoted is made by machine: it measures page counts, image resolution, whether a PDF already holds a text layer, and how confidently a recogniser reads a sample. It keeps the scores and discards the words.

The one exception, stated plainly: if a file cannot be read at all, you are told which file by name so you can do something about it. Filenames are not treated as content, and nothing else about the file is examined.

How long we keep it — and what "no retention window" means

Your submitted files and the working data from them are destroyed as soon as the job finishes. Your finished results stay encrypted on your private link so you can collect them, and are destroyed when that window closes — at most 30 days. We keep no copy beyond that and cannot retrieve one afterwards. A job that fails before delivery is the one other exception: your submitted files are held encrypted for up to 24 hours so it can be run again, then destroyed automatically whether it was or not. Keep your own originals until your delivery opens.

Working data is encrypted while a job runs and the key is destroyed at cleanup. Being honest about what that is worth: the key lives on the same machine as the data, so destruction is what delivers the guarantee, not encryption. Encryption means a casual read of the disk gives up nothing. We do not claim more than that.

What we do keep

WhatWhyHow long
Your email address and payment reference, tied to a job number So a job that goes wrong can be traced to the person who paid and refunded. Your email is encrypted in your own browser before it reaches us, and readable only with a key held offline While the job is alive, then destroyed
Your submitted files, but only if the job fails before delivery So a job that broke on our machinery can be run again without asking you to send everything a second time. Encrypted, and never read 24 hours, then destroyed automatically whether it was re-run or not
Job records — job number, timestamps, the destruction certificate Proof of what was done and when. Contains no content, and never the names of your files — only their type and size 30 days, then deleted automatically
Email you send us It is how you contacted us In our mailbox, as with any business

Your payment record also lives with our payment processor, on their own schedule, as it does for every business that accepts cards. We cannot delete their copy and neither can you.

Payments and card security

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see, handle or store your card number. It is entered on Stripe's systems, not ours, and nothing about your card ever reaches our machines.

This site is served over HTTPS. We hold no card data, so there is no store of payment details here to lose.

The website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anyone else — no fonts, no scripts, no trackers, no embedded media. There is nothing here to consent to. Our host records ordinary server logs, as all web hosts do.

Who else touches anything

Named honestly, because most drafts leave these out:

WhoWhat they handle
ProtonOur email, if you write to us. Your files never go through it — they go straight to our own machine over your upload link
StripePayments. We never see or store your card details
NetlifyHosts this website. Your files never touch it
NamecheapOur domain registration

None of them ever hold your work. Processing happens only on our own machines.

Security

Uploaded files are screened for malware before anything runs. Processing happens in a sandbox. The machine that does the heavy work has no route to the internet at all, and we check that automatically rather than asserting it once. Files are encrypted while at rest during a job.

What we do not claim: we hold no security certification, we have not been audited by anyone, and no system is beyond failure. What we offer instead is a small, inspectable setup and a record of every job.

Florida law

We are a Florida business. When we process files for you, we act as a third-party agent under the Florida Information Protection Act, § 501.171, Fla. Stat. If we discovered a breach of personal information we hold on your behalf, we would notify you within 10 days, as that section requires, and give you what we know.

The Florida Digital Bill of Rights does not apply to a business our size, and we make no claim under it. A written data processing agreement is available on request. We are not a HIPAA business associate; a medical practice needs a separate agreement before sending protected health information.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will — though for a completed job the answer is usually that it is already gone, and the certificate you were given says when.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we send no marketing email.

Children

This is a service for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change never applies retroactively to a job that has already been destroyed.
